BRUSSELS (Reuters) – The European Union is not taking full account of the environmental impact of oil-based road transport fuels, which could undermine the bloc’s renewable energy goals, European biodiesel producers said on Thursday.
MILAN (Reuters) – Italy should boost incentives for renewable energy sector to meet a 17 percent target for green energy in total energy use set by the European Union for 2020, a senior official at state energy management agency GSE said.
MADRID (Reuters) – Spain’s government on Monday proposed more than doubling production from renewable energy sources by 2020 to just over 20 percent of total energy use, which would meet European Union targets.
